Clearwire has announced its intention to outsource management of its 4G WiMAX network to Ericsson. The terms of the seven-year deal will result in Clearwire transferring 700 employees to the Sweden-based telecommunications and data system giant by the middle of the year. The plan calls for Ericsson to manage Clearwire’s day-to-day 4G network services.
