Attendees to the World’s Largest Block Party in Chicago will have an interesting opportunity this year. They’ll  experience CLEAR’s 4G WiMAX trhough BobCarMedia’s 3-D  media display. Consumers can experience the new service right at the 26th edition of the World’s Largest Block Party.

BobCar Mobile Showrooms will showcase CLEAR around Old St. Patrick’s Church on the corner of W. Monroe St. and N. Desplaines St. in downtown Chicago . CLEAR brand ambassadors will be on hand to answer questions consumers may may. The displays will allow consumers to compare the 4G CLEAR service to their current 3G connection.

“We’re so thrilled to be participating in this year’s Block Party,”  Benjamin Cohen, founder and president of BobCarMedia, said,  “We’ve gotten to know the people of Chicago through this wonderful campaign with CLEAR, and one thing is evident: technology is intimidating to the average consumer. We’re looking forward to giving Chicagoans the chance to ‘test-drive’ CLEAR’s 4G WiMAX service in a hands-on way, as they enjoy the Block Party festivities.”

The electric-powered eco-friendly hybrid car/truck will be decked out in the bright green CLEAR colors with sleek lines to attract people from the street to the vehicle. It will also help sellers drive traffic into the surrounding CLEAR retail stores. The BobCar Mobile showroom will CLEAR’s 4G service directly to the people. They’ll also offer a $35 cash back to all users that sign up a new account. BobCar Mobile Showrooms bring an interactive, rich experience to advertising. It makes it great for the consumers to see so much effort and care were put into getting them to purchase the products.

CLEAR is proud to partner with a community organization that has such a rich tradition of helping so many organizations throughout Chicago and around the world,” said Jeannie Weaver, Regional Director for CLEAR in Chicago.

BobCars were designed to be mobile advertising platforms for highly urbanized areas. They are electric vehicles that can be positioned practically anywhere in market. CLEAR launched WiMAX in 47 cities across the United States. They plan on covering 120 million people by the end of 2010, with market launches in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
