Harris Stratex and Open Range Strike Up Deal

Today leading wireless solution provider, Harris Stratex Networks, Inc. has announced a five-year deal with Open Range Communications, Inc., a wireless broadband services provider for rural America.
Under this deal Open Range will provide network operations center (NOC) managed services based on Harris Stratex NetBoxx XT integrated services assurance technology. Open range will also reduce operational expences while improving its products.
“With a network of this size and stature, service continuity is critical. By harnessing our managed network services expertise, we’re tackling the tactical network functions, allowing Open Range to focus on delivering innovative services that attract and retain customers, and open up additional revenue streams,” said Herald Braun, Harris Stratex president and CEO.
“Harris Stratex is providing us with a comprehensive, cost-effective suite of technologies and services, and they’ve demonstrated expertise and flexibility as a business partner,” said Bill Beans, Jr., founder and CEO of Open Range.
