Mobily has completed total WiMAX coverage of Riyadh. Mobily began WiMAX in the Saudi capital in September 2008 with an initial investment of $399 million. Mobily’s WiMAX subscribers can access speeds of up to 2Mbps anywhere within the city.
‘Mobily is working on covering most of the kingdom’s cities and regions with WiMAX as per its technical plan,’ said Abdulaziz Altamami, Mobily’s chief operating officer.
