MicroStar International will release their WiMAX-enabled laptops in India over the next few months. India, along with Taiwan, will be looked at as potential growth markets for the 4G technology.
MSI launched their latest netbooks at Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this past January. Many companies have interest in seeing the WiMAX market grow in India. BSNL, the state operator, has begun to offer commercial services in many urban areas along with other operators. The spectrum auction for 4G/3G services took longer than expected.
