Packet One expects to double its users in 2010 by expanding its coverage area along with the latest in modems and other products. As of October 2009, the company had 100,000 users.
After unveiling modems in early December 2009, the company will release WiMax-embedded netbooks later this year. P1 will expand its WiMax coverage to 45 percent of Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak later this year. P1 currently services about 35 percent of the population of Malaysia.
