P1 Secures More Finance for Expansion

Malaysia Debt Ventures gave Packet One Networks a RM50 million dollar loan for P1′s expansion of its WiMax network infrastructure in Malaysia.

P1 CEO Michael Lai stated that the money was part of the total capital spending of RM200 million for 2010. Green Packet, P1′s parent company, hosted a media event recently that outlined their plans to become one of the top providers of WiMax supplies globally.
